Bloodhounds the Movie, Young Citizen Patriots: A Test of Faith and Bravery Part 1

As the newest and most socially conscious of their Bloodhounds, Inc. series of films for young people, Marcia Silen Films announces the release of Bloodhounds the Movie, Young Citizen Patriots: A Test of Faith and Bravery Part 1. The first in what will be a series of films centered on the theme of patriotism and tolerance, Young Citizen Patriot is aimed at young people and focuses on the efforts of popular teen detectives Sean and Melissa to save their town from a terrorist threat.

In conjunction with the Free Muslims Coalition Against Terrorism, Marcia Silen Films has produced a movie that they hope will raise interest and awareness of young people to the world around them, while at the same time providing insight into the millions of Muslims who want the world to know that a few radical extremists do no represent their religion.

Marcia Silen, a 20-year veteran of the film industry and president of Marcia Silen Films, says:

"Movies like this one are so important because they speak to young people in a voice they can relate to, showing them that they, too, can be patriotic, they can love their country, and that they have important roles to play in the world around them. Also, by involving the Muslim community, we are building a bridge to a world that many non-Muslim young people have no real knowledge of."

Bloodhounds, Inc. is the immensely popular DVD and video series starring Richard Thomas (“John Boy” of TV’s The Waltons), and is based on the best-selling books by Bill Myers. BloodHounds, Inc. is a comedy-adventure series featuring the hilarious, fun-filled adventures of kid detectives "Sean" and "Melissa," their widowed father, and their pet bloodhound, "Slobs."
